It's Friday!!

It's Friday and that means that the weekend its almost upon us!! The yucky, nasty weather that passed through here yesterday is gone and has given way to a sunny morning! It's a bit cool out there, however, currently in the upper 49's. However, we're supposed to hit a high of 80 degrees according to Ken Johnson on Channel 16.

Chris and I had a long talk last night - we discussed my pending adoption of Sukiey - the cat - and what all that will entail and what I will need to take custody of her. Chris said she will take Sukiey to the Vet - Dr. Majes, I think his name is, and have her checkout and also have her nails and claws trimmed down. She said that Sukiey doesn't bring her claws out much - a hopeful sign for me.

Then Saturday, after doing the newspapers, we're going to stop at Wal*Mart and check out getting the stuff I'll need - cat food, litter, litter box, a toy or 2, and whaterver else we can think of, plus I may get a few more grocery items, and I want to get a pack or 2 of tab dividers instead of buying a day planner - I can make my own with the 3 ring binder I've got.

I'm excited about getting a pet - and I'll let you know how it works out...
